About Me
I was born and raised in the Mannville AB area. After high school, I moved to Saskatoon, SK and completed a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture as well as a Master of Science; both majoring in Food Science from the University of Saskatchewan. It was during University when my mom suggested that I find a creative outlet to help express myself and relax, so I signed up for a few pottery classes in Saskatoon, and I loved it. After I finished my Masters Program, I moved back home to work on my family farm. While my day to day life changed dramatically by going from city life to farm life, I knew I wanted to pursue my new hobby further. Once I was situated back at home, I joined the local pottery guild to further hone my skills and become inspired by the other crafters around me. Recently, I met someone wonderful, and we have decided to start a family together!

Over the past seven years, my love of creating has only grown stronger. In addition to attending craft shows all over the province to sell my work, I have recently started teaching classes to help inspire people in the same way I was. I enjoy introducing people to the wheel and clay, and love to see people's reactions to their handmade pottery.

The pieces I create are wheel thrown and are inspired by bright colours and nature. When I am not throwing pottery, I can be found on the farm, spending time with my family, reading a new book, or crocheting.
